The sunset club

The Inspiration

The Sunset Club was inspired by the easy glamour of vintage Palm Springs, where afternoons linger by the pool, tropical cocktails arrive in playful tiki mugs, and dinner begins just as the sky turns golden.

It all started with a single toucan tiki mug that sparked the entire evening. From there came vibrant citrus, warm evenings, bold flavors, and a menu designed for sharing. The goal wasn't to recreate the tropics, but to capture the feeling of summer: relaxed, colorful, and just a little nostalgic.

This dinner celebrated the kind of gathering where shoes come off, another cocktail is poured, and no one looks at the time.

the invitation

The invitation was designed as if The Sunset Club had been an exclusive social club for decades, a place where members returned each summer to mark the beginning of the season together. A custom club logo, handwritten cocktail napkin, lipstick kiss, and vintage cocktail illustrations created the feeling of discovering a treasured invitation tucked inside the stationery drawer of an old Palm Springs hotel.

Rather than simply announcing dinner, the invitation welcomed guests into the story. They weren't attending a themed supper, they were receiving an invitation to The Sunset Club. Resort cocktail attire, golden hour cocktails, and a touch of mid-century escapism completed the illusion, inviting guests to step into a world where everyone already belonged.

The table reflected the effortless charm of a Palm Springs dinner party.

Natural woven textures, warm candlelight, tropical touches, and vintage-inspired serving pieces created a setting that felt collected rather than styled. Modern floral arrangements featuring fresh-cut citrus added a vibrant focal point, drawing inspiration from today's celebration trends while echoing the bright flavors of the menu.
